- Adopt-A-Window The Domestic Crisis Center is working to repair and insulate all windows. By "adopting" a window, organizations would help reduce the YWCA's energy cost and preserve the historic character of all shelters.
- Adopt-A-Room Approximately 500 women and children seek shelter at the YWCA's Domestic Crisis Center each year. As expected, the rooms, furniture, walls and carpeting are in constant need of repair. Organizations that adopt a room, provide labor and materials to renovate "their" room.
- Adopt-A-Family The YWCA provides families up to 2 years of supportive, transitional, housing as they work to move beyond emergency shelter. During this time, survivors are gaining the skills and accessing the resources needed to establish a life safe and independent from their assailants. Adopt-A-Family offers individuals and organizations the opportunity to provide a little additional support (mentoring, transportation, etc) during a family's transition.
- Adopt-A-Family During the Holidays The holidays can be especially difficult for the families in our emergency domestic violence shelter and transitional housing program. Knowing that someone else is thinking of them helps make this time a little bit brighter.
